Original battery 132000km/82800mls from factory delivered in 2016.

Tested and puts out 85% what is original from new.

As for the crush washer I use Toyota OEM crush washer they are cheaper and works perfectly.

Coolant change today for my old girl. Not my favourite job, but at least it's only every three years!

Now it'll get cleaned while the fairings are off - polish the headers etc. - long past due! This also gives me an opportunity to touch up all the stone chips in the paint etc. and snowfoam the engine properly.

Fun times!

Update:
Went home for the poor man gadget. Counted 36 blinks what is failure related to O2 sensor. I started immediately to sweat €€€! It's probably the most expensive sensor on the bike.
Did the poor man trick, open and closed the sensor connector under the ECU box, cleared the code and untill now, it didn't came back. Maybe just a failed ECU check cycle.
Thanks to what I learned here in the forum, I was able to do the diagnose in a few minutes, using just a thin copper wire! 😄

Latest update: It´s now Thursday and I I've ridden the bike everyday. The ECL never came on again! Thankfully.

It´s funny, I was on a full tank of 98 RON (10E) premium gas!! I don´t believe in ghosts and I'm sure this has nothing to do with it, but If I didn’t´ think like this I would be swearing that premium gas made my engine O2 sensor fail or give an instant false reading! LOL
We always have to be careful with cause and effect relation assumptions.
I will not go back to 98 RON (10E) again anyhow. More even because the 10% ethanol it contains, might rust my tank. I don’t even remember why the hell I filled it up with that stuff! Probably I felt instantly I had to much money in my pocket. I never use Premium. LOL 😎

98 RON is pointless in the 650, it's not tuned for it.

Avoiding the 10% ethanol is worth paying for though.

J
I know. I NEVER use it. That's why I found it funny. The only time I filled a tank of it just for fun, I got an O2 sensor error. 😅
My CB is only used to supermarket regular 95 RON 🤣
Here in Portugal, supermaket budget fuels are very good quality, they come from the same source as all the rest, Petrogal.
At home we have more than half a million Km on buget diesel with zero issues.

Here they have E5 in Netherlands its around E1 to E5

and in Belgium its E0 to E1 even its listed as E5

I use only E5. Fuel line knackered due habitation of the last owner.

I live in a rural part of the northeast USA. Somehow I have two stations within 8 miles (each direction) of me with ethanol free fuel. It is considerably more expensive but I will consider using it if y'all think it makes that big of a difference.

As for what I did today? I took off an old tank protector that was looking a bit crusty. I will wait for warmer weather to apply the replacement one I got.

Also pictured is a new windscreen (MRA touring windscreen) that I am super excited to try out. It came with clear piping to put around the outside edge of the screen to presumably stop you from cutting yourself? It doesn't seem overly sharp. Anyone have opinions on that?

P.S. please disregards the messy shed and the PUIG frame sliders. I just went on a deep dive on single point frame sliders and these have to be awful. Need to get them off before I bend an engine mount or something.

Thought I'd try out a headlight guard I saw on Amazon. I like the look of it, and it's one of the only ones I've found that is actually fitted to the bike as opposed to a flat wire generic grille or something that requires permanent modification to the headlight. Fitment isn't great but once tightened up everything feels really firm. At least my flyscreen hides the defects.

Hi
I find your setup very nice, do you have the links for the headlight grille and your windshield ?

Hello. These days I went to Serra da Estrela, portuguese highest mountain, to visit my mom and back. In total, 800km of secundary roads and springy green landscape.
