I shake my head sometimes at what other people do but then they probably do the same about the things I do. The world would be pretty boring if we all thought the same and I'm bored enough as it is. ;-)
When I had a gps tracker fitted to my bike the battery would drain in about 7 days necessitating setting up a solar charger to keep the battery charged when the bike was not in use.
I noticed that when I was trying to find ACC wires that the connector under the seat on the RHS of the bike had...
Or you can try lithium ION battery and save some weight;

Make sure you get one with the terminals on the correct sides
I had an Arai that cracked in an accident. I hit a rock hard and it would have killed me except for the helmet. I couldn't afford another Arai at the time so I went for a Kabuto Aero Blade 5 after reading reviews saying it was quiet. It wasn't, among other things it whistled when riding with...
I wouldn't take their word that it's not a warranty issue. I'd force the issue and if they wouldn't come to the party I'd take it up with whoever your country's organisation is that looks after consumer rights.
There's more rain in Thailand than in Australia, unfortunately. If you want it dry, here is the place. My water tanks are about empty and the water carters are flat out so I can't get any in until next Monday.
I'd suggest that no matter how good a professional is that just patching two areas of the tank won't look as good as redoing the lot. It would be too difficult to get the patching to blend in.
There were two sellers on AliExpress who sold these. The quality of the ones I got is great. The only issue is the bolts being too long for the spools...

Read my thread. There was a bit of a glitch with bolts being too long.
my 2018 650f has a 8 pin connector there. I tested the terminals and this is what I found;
There is a 6 pin plug on the RH rear of the fuel tank next to the hinge that is jammed in that I couldn't move. I believe this is the second options connector but I am yet to pull it out and test.
The...
I didn't like raising it with the bobbins not because I don't think it would work but compared to my other solution, raising directly on the swing arm, using the bobbins seem to be a lot harder and I didn't want it to get to a point where I couldn't control the bike as I was on my own. I was...
The combined chain tensioner/paddock stand unit arrived today. It is well made but there a couple of things to be wary of. First there are 2 spacers on the bolts that are used to secure the unit to the bike where the adjusting screws are located (until you take them out that is). These...
Stock adjusters don't have a scale on either side so it is near impossible to get perfect wheel alignment. I have recently purchased the following lightech ones from Aliexpress but am still awaiting delivery; https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000231003068.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.5a294c4d7fpv1N
I've order a different one from AliExpress. It has a screen so you can check the camera aiming without having to use a phone. I plan on installing the screen under the seat as there really is no need to be viewing the files unless there's an accident...
