I bought a photocromatic (self tinting) for my Bell Star, which I still use.
Is it fast enough when going through tunnels?

Shoei has an electronic one. You can leave it on auto tinting mode, or change the tinting level with a touch off a button. Pretty cool but expensive and only available in Japan at the moment, but it seems to work pretty well.

The internal Visor looks good, but so far I don't like them but most road use helmets appear to have them now
Race oriented helmets and retro models, don't have them. Arai don't have them at all. Instead they have an external sun visor!
I think helmets sold in United States don't have them either, because of the snell certification, but americans forum members can tell if I'm wrong or just outdated 😅

I like the internal visor on my Shoei GT Air 2, but could go for a photocromatic one, just to have a lighter helmet.🙂

Ok then. Go try an Arai 😉
Arai doesn’t fit my head shape and I’ll be damned if I drop $1k plus on something that doesn’t protect any better than a $200 helmet does simply because it says “Arai” on a sticker.

To each their own, though.
My quest on helmets is to find the best anti fog one 🙄
My experience is you‘d be hard pressed to beat a Pinlock capable shield. Unless you wear glasses (which are what fogs up 95% of the time, not the shield) and then an electric, heated snowmobile shield is your only real choice for little to no fog.
