I know a lot of you guys are waiting for the warm weather to come to go riding again,I have the warm weather here

but I also have air pollution. It's made its way down from Burma and it really sucks. I have to wear a mask and

goggles in my full- face helmet. Without the goggles, my eyes burn like hell. Also, the Coronavirus is spreading

fast in Asia, everywhere I go people are wearing face masks. Other than that, things are really great here!

It was 70 degrees here last weekend, and I went for a wonderful ride, just having fun and ripping up and down Ute pass by Pikes Peak, exploring some new roads in the high country, and soaking up some sun. And then it dropped to single digits by Monday night. And it snowed. And then snowed 6-7 more inches on Friday. Then more snow yesterday, and 5 inches more snow expected tonight. More snow maybe this weekend. And this will be the pattern for the next two months.

I was feeling pretty cranky about spring in the mountains, because that's when we get the most snow and it's annoying to keep shoveling out every week, but your post adds some perspective. At least our mountain air is clean and we don't have Coronavirus running rampant, so that's nice.

Also putting things in perspective: S'pore has 5703600 inhabitants and 45 cases of the new Corona virus. That is roughly 0,00079%.
China has roughly 1395380000 people and (as of yesterday) 40171 confirmed Corona cases. That is around 0,00288%.

Don't get me wrong, every case is tragic and I hope they get this virus under control soon, but the weird panic everywhere is really odd to me compared to many many other things out there.

As far as my CBR goes, I am impatiently waiting for better weather. I'll be in Italy later this week and wish I had a bike there. It's around 18°C (64F) and sunny down there, which is literally my favorite riding condition.

Beneweis, at least in Singapore they stopped Chinese tourists from coming in, but not in Thailand they still fly in

from all parts of China still. I really don't know why they don't stop this now?

They should stop it ,trouble is there are an awful lot of Chinese people about and how do they stop it spreading globally. There are already cases near where I live of Chinese student and other persons in hospital/quarantine.

35 degrees F this morning, but clear skies and will be in the fifty's this afternoon, so I rode my bike to work. Hands were numb by the time I arrived, and everyone's joking that I've cursed us all by riding the motorcycle and now we're doomed for more snow this weekend, lol.

There's something extra special about leaving work on Friday and getting to ride the bike home. Makes my whole day better.

Yesterday I left and headed up to Shreveport, then to Texarcana, over to Little Rock then Memphis, then down to Baton Rouge and back home to Lake Charles. A bit over 1,000 miles in about 18 hours. It was a special Leap Year certification for the Iron Butt Association. Had to do it on Leap Day, so I did. Got a late start, but still made it work :)

After 7 months of patience, I went to pick up the cbr650r today. The weather was good, so I did a 120km ride. I really enjoyed it, it got more fun by the minute and I look forward to getting to know the honda even better!

The quickshifter and the black high windscreen did not arrive yet, I should get them in may, but I don't really care at this point, I'm happy I can finally ride again!

I took a ride over to watch the manatees by the power plant. As is everything, they closed the viewing area. So, I took a ride over to Clearwater Beach. Also...closed. Lot's of people outside here in Florida enjoying the gorgeous weather (mid 80 degrees F) and it's supposed to be like that for another week at least, NO RAIN!

It's sunny and dry in the UK at the moment, so I went for a ride around Cheshire and the Peak District.

Lot's of mud and dung on the roads in places, but other than that, I enjoyed it. A few roads were a bit rough which is to be expected after all the rain we have had this winter, but I wasn't going hell for leather, just enjoying being out on the bike.

I'll be out tomorrow as well, as it may be the last time for a while we'll be able to go out and have some fun.

Keep safe everyone.
