I got a quote from a dealer here in Toronto for the Arrow Racing Headers (non-EC) with the pictured titanium end can for CAD1600, sounds kinda on the expensive end :sorry:

Honestly I think the akrapovic look better. And the price difference between arrow and akrapovic full exhaust is not very different.

Here are all the pics from Arrow for the CB650R with the different caps:

Yea the only thing is that the Akra seems quite "mellow" in sound, or that might just be the audio quality of the original recording.

Best bet is probably wait till next season and see what kind of developments suppliers are coming out with.

The Akra is nice and very reasonably loud with the baffle in (responsible loudness) or nice and loud without being freakin’ ridiculous with the baffle out.

Just rode my 2018 CB with the akra home and I can say it's more than loud enough without the baffle, with ear plugs it's actually a good loudness (can still think to myself) while being heard by most if not all traffic, with the baffle it's still good and probably be put in if I was going to do a really long ride like a mini tour.

Also without the baffle if your gentle on the throttle you can pass by cops here in AU with little than a glance

I just placed an order for the CB650R matt blue and also ordered the new version of Akra full system, EC with catalytic converter so everything is street legal. I hope the sound is worth it. Anyone got this system installed? I heard from the dealer the DB killer is welded in so can't be removed.

It can be removed Aditodor normally. You have to drill in the weld spot(Akrapovic leaves the place marked so we can get it out), get somoene that knows how to do it :) Do you have pics for it already? What is the exhaust product ID?

Yap that's right, that's the new ECE approved exhaust from akrapovic. According to Akrapovic, pics should pop in the upcoming weeks.

I read on the internet that latest euro-compliant Akrapovic exhausts have non removable baffle.

If any one has the non euro compliant version (code S-H6R11-AFT), can he confirms that there is no EC mark under the exhaust?

By the way, few differences here:
- Euro compliant exhaust (S-H6R14-HEGEHT) weights 6.9kg and seems taller

- Non euro compliant exhaust (S-H6R11-AFT) wieghts 5.4kg and seems thiner

I have the S-H6R11-AFT fitted on my CBR650R, when I'm home from work I'll check it for an EC-mark.
But I'm almost sure there isn't a mark ;)
