Ha, just fitted the same ones myself! I went black ends with blue adjusters.

Nice levers (if you can get them to ship the correct clutch adapter!).

Check you have part 304173 before fitting.

Tell me more @Brammers . I was going to buy a set of these levers last night but went out to a local bike meet instead. I was looking at these ones: Brake lever and clutch lever Set VX Honda CBR 650 R 19-20 V-Trec adjustable.

Just want to make sure I have everything I need before buying.

Tail tidy - $30 - only negative is the LED wiring is a bit cheap, and there no wire management. Even if the LED fails, they’re cheap to replace and a little electric tape and shrink wrap made the wiring feel a lot more supported during install, and a few zip ties and some silicon glue make for cheap wire management.

short adjustable levers (ali express) - $25 - they feel beefier and more durable that then OEMs. But the clutch lever did need a little filing to get in smoothly, it was probably .10 mm to thick for a smooth fit.

Installed the Puig short levers...what a difference! Specially with the clutch, now I can keep 2 fingers in both levers with confort (I have small hands by the way). Also, in order to try keep the radiator cleaner, I installed a front fender extension (https://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-CB650R-19-Front-Mudguard-Extension/193011106900?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649). A word of caution: is really hard to take out the front fender without scraping the shock tubes, but with lots of patience, this can be done (it take me about 15 minutes to take out, plus another 15 to put it back). The plastic extension can be installed flush, but this means you need to trim the corners of the OEM fender until the results are good. In my case, because I want to paint the fender body color, I don't take the time for try this (another day maybe). For added security, I made 2 small holes near the corners, and installed 1 small screw and nut in every one (the fender comes with two side 3M tape in many sizes and shapes, but I don't trust this system so much). I'm really happy with the final result, pics for show. Happy motoring!

Yes, the front end has been lowered on the front forks ,this is usually done when the seat height has been lowered by modifying the rear suspension !

Goblin, front mudguard shouldn't need trimming to fit the extension! Yes, I found the front mudguard slightly awkward to remove, you have to squeeze it a bit and manipulate it just right to get it to pass through the forks.

As Enrico said, the rear suspension has been lowered, this because at 5'1" with a 27" inseem I'm a short person. And because this is my first real bike (my daily rider to and from work is a Honda Dax stroked to 90cc, other bikes I rode don't pass the 150cc mark), I decided to lower the bike to reach the ground better with my left feet, and improve my confidence. For now, this setup works for me

I installed a racing line titanium full system exhaust. If you have the funds for it, you HAVE to get it. I paid 1400$ here in Canada.

I took a ride down Skyline Drive though Shenandoah National Park. I didn't take many pictures, but I got a few. Everything is lush and green. Still too early for the Fall colors sadly. And yes, I know, the bike is filthy and needs a good washing.








Most unexpectedly, I made a new friend while I was up there. I'm not sure why he has red legs, but he does.

A note from a former Techspec center tank pad user: I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE their side tank grips but with the center pad being the "rubber" material, if you have a bit of a belly or your stomach rubs up against the tank when you ride, it will discolor light color jackets, especially textile. I never put two and two together and though my expanding waist was (fully) to blame until it was pointed out on another forum the pad will do that. Had a huge 'duh" moment realizing this started happening after I added the pad to my Triumph so I ran my hands over the now well worn pad and sure enough it makes sense. Swapped the one I was using with a standard plastic/CF pad and no more dirty looking belly.
