I only occaisionally struggle with a false neutral, however it is annoying. I'm currently waiting on my Quickshifter to arrive from Japan, Do you think its worth getting the RaceTorx and getting Honda to fit everything at the same time?
Like I said, I don't really struggle too bad, but I would...
Looks great. I love the Red, I've seen some people take all the decals off and I think it looks pretty cool.
They don't offer Red '21 models in Australia, otherwise I would have 100% gone with that.
Good luck mate, if you go ahead with that then be sure to keep this forum updated, I'm sure lots of people (including myself) would love to see the result.
I wouldn't know if the tanks are the same fitment.. Looks like the part numbers are different so I would do your reserach.

I think you'd struggle as the Glossy nose is part of the body- It wouldn't be impossible, but a pain. I also think the shades of matte black are slightly different..
Maybe look at a custom Wrap job instead?
2021 Matte Black is Matte fairings, then Gloss Tank, Tail, and area surrounding headlight.
I picked mine up just over a month ago, and personally I think they look great. The two-tone effect makes for some nice photos, just can get a bit difficult to clean the bike clean.
I can get some...
MT07 was great for snappy city riding, popping wheelies at any opportunity. It was a hooligan bike just in the style you ride it.
Lots of torque, snap the throttle on in any gear and you'll get good acceleration. MT07 peak power is still actually more than the CBR I think. Looking up dyno...
Meanwhile in Australia.. Just getting into the warm weather 😁 - Right now its the best because it's only spring, not stupid hot, just pleasantly warm..
45 degrees on a hot black bike in city traffic is NOT fun though..
It will absolutely blow you away. Especially if this is one of your first bikes.
The LAMS CBR is honestly very slow. I had a LAMS MT07 before my CBR and I really think the MT was significantly faster. When I got mine tuned the 'Before' dyno came out at 37hp.. Derestricted it to 86.5hpo_O -...
Looks sweet as man. I have the same bike :)
I didn't go for the Akra because it was a bit expensive, but that looks really good.
If I could recommend- Go and get that derestrict done! The bike is great, but SO underwhelming whilst LAMS restricted. You'll get over DOUBLE hp gain with the tune...
You're dead right that your 650 may not be charging, and the issue may be deeper than the battery.. but the fact of it is, a 10.86V battery is gonna do bugger all.
Like you say, "try it on another unit" - my recommendation would be to actually run the 'dead' battery in question on your 500...
Your upgraded blinkers.. Are they LED? Do they need special relays fitted to match? Perhaps this could develop an issue?
Just a shot in the dark, just try and think what has changed on your bike since it's been having issues.
I would imagine it's probably something to do with your O2 sensor? When I got my Aus bike destricted (dynotuned, not flashed) - He insisted it was very necessary to do an O2 delete. Advised me that if I plugged it back it, it would probably start throwing engine lights.
If you're in WA then...
I had my Australian restricted 21' CBR650R dynotuned (86.5whp) and unrestricted.
They removed the top speed limiter for me, the next day I was comfortably able to hit 221kmh (137mph) in 5th gear whilst not fully tucked on the tank (had a GoPro on my chest, didnt wanna scratch the tank)
The...
Depends on the bike and the restrictions really.
(I don't know much about 650F's) but 650R's just use airbox restrictions, and a tune to restrict the bike. Realistically, no one is going to figure out if you're restricted or not. Other bikes it can be pretty clear. I used to have an MT07...
Powder coat looks great! I've been really keen to do this on my CBR. The colour scheme is gorgeous but I'm not a fan of the bright silver pegs on my fully blacked-out bike..
Is it really as easy as unbolt them all and send them off to a powder shop?
Hmmm that's interesting then.
I don't know about CBR's in particular, but I believe starter relay issues are fairly common, and also easy to replace.
Now this isn't expert advice, but if you can find the relay, then give it a few good taps/knocks (smack that bastard), and spray some...
