Looks like the coating came of, if it was mine i would look for a new one and if a new one costs too much i would take it off clean the rust and remaining coating and re paint it with something durable (all of that is for looks, i have no idea if that corrosion could make any trouble). and if...

Thats kinda sad that your experience is identical to mine firs pump water and oil second pump only oil next week they are going to install the 3rd and let me tell you if there gonna be a 4th im getting a lawyer im done with honda they fucked up with this bike and I'm not gonna take it anymore

So the garage ordered another water pump last week, that would be the 3rd water pump on this bike lets hope it solves the problem.
