All 650's Rusty ABS rings

Hi guys, this is my first post here and I wanted to ask you knowledgeable folk about my gnarly ABS rings (the rear especially)! The corrosion was a gift from the PO and I was wondering if there's a way to clean this ring up, without removing it from the bike, to reduce any ABS issues that could occur if it builds up? I was thinking some grey scotchbrite, autosol metal polish, then ACF50, or if the surface is too damaged just frequent coatings of ACF50 until the end of time.

Looks like the coating came of, if it was mine i would look for a new one and if a new one costs too much i would take it off clean the rust and remaining coating and re paint it with something durable (all of that is for looks, i have no idea if that corrosion could make any trouble).
and if you do take the wheel of replace the seals while the wheel is off they look pretty crusty.

The finish does go off a bit on these parts although they aren't as bad as that on my 2 year old cb650f. I find it a bit awkward cleaning things near the brake discs because I am bothered about contaminating the discs.

I won't show you my 2014 ones, as the finish is like new. Honda went for cheaper paint somewhen on later batches and it shows.

Take them off apply wire brush and repaint (don't use metalic paints) and it look great. Also pick a colour :)

Ah so it needs some proper rejuvenating and a new coating (plus the wheel seals oh my). All that disassembly is a daunting task for me with my current experience, but when the time comes to learn how to replace the chain & sprockets I might as well delve into this too. Thanks a bunch for your input guys :)

I had a new Honda chain and sprocket kit fitted a few months ago and the finish on the rear sprocket is already looking tarnished . Why can't they provide a more durable finish to these parts ?!!!
