SOLD IT 😢!!!!!
Very sad day but one that needed to happen , decided to let my beloved 2017 CBR650F move on to a new owner - decided to make a move over to a 2020 Triumph Speed Triple RS .
It’s been a bike I’ve loved for years and finally test rode one last week ; put my bike up for sale that evening as I loved it so much .
That’s not to say I dont love the 650, I just don’t see any point keeping hold of both of , then obviously there’s the Financial aspect .

Congrats on the upgrade. The Triple RS is very attractive! I love Triumph's as well. I miss my Daytona 675 a lot but had a few issues with the electrical that lead me to getting the 650R.

I finally found the courage to remove some of red decals from my bike, also replaced the footrests after having them anodised.

Winter is here. We already had our first snow back in August, but it wasn't terribly cold. I should have grabbed some pics of riding while the countryside was covered in snow, before it all melted the next day.

But as of last night it's now freezing frackin cold outside. High of 12 degrees. Thank goodness for garages. So a quick drain and fill this morning to put some antifreeze back in the bike and get it ready for winter riding. I should have done it sooner, but it's been so nice the last month, I've been too busy riding when I'm not working on other projects. Cleaned and lubed the chain, lubed the cables, and will mount some new tires later. I still have some life left on the stock Dunlops and would really like to finish wearing them out, but they are just TERRIBLE in the cold. So I guess I'll be storing them for another winter.

Went for a ride today, and discovered a new mountain road with good turns and beautiful landscapes! Almost 50 km (30 miles) of this, and I'm a new man! And used for the firts time my new AGV K5 helmet, what a difference in confort compared with my old and dependable Nolan N6. Happy motoring!IMG_5134.JPGIMG_5143.JPGIMG_5137.JPG

Today I finally had the chance to remove the ugly EVAP canister, much better now to keep things clean. Capped off the lines on the throttle bodies and extended the evap line coming from the gas tank. Left the solenoid in peace since it's a pita to reach.
Replaced the foot pegs with Puig sport with the rubber insert to help with vibration.
Good clean and tensioned the chain.

They are gorgeous! Question: are they CB650 specific? How much for the set?

These are the item code
Mounts 6347N (this is specific)
Pegs 7318P (with any puig mounts)
You might wanna check if the mounts fit the 650F, but I think they should - EDIT: never mind you have the R, your description is saying F 😅
$85

I tried to update my description, but I can't find the way :nailbiting: Thanks for the response! So the pegs are Puig, not Rizoma? In your first post, you put Rizoma, but looking carefully in the pictures, it seems they are Puig, is this correct? Indeed, I need those!

Finally got a combination of some time and decent riding weather (which sadly has been very rare lately...) First time I’ve gotten to take the bike out since the end of my tour a couple weeks ago. Felt great to get out in the wind again, hopefully I’ll be able to get in a few more days like this before winter sets in and forces the bike into hibernation...

Beautiful Halloween sunset in WI tonight!!!
