My buzzing stopped around 5k miles and after I removed the PAIR valve entirely. I always suspected it was the pair valve rattling since it’s really just ‘floating’ on its hoses under the ignition and isn’t really secured otherwise. Seems like it’d be easy for it to rattle around.

I think the thing to take away from all this is that there is no one, this-is-what-is-causing-the-noise solution and lots of things rattle. Glad most of these are getting solved.

Just started getting this at 9,500 miles, I did just swap out for ebay aftermarket chain adjusters so going to start there. Although I know that was a clean install with loctite and everything.

I also just replaced the air filter so I imagine ill check the air box bolts and that whole assembly. Tore down the air intake boxes while doing the air filter to clean em, Maybe I missed something on re-assembly.

The front brake pads are at about 25% so could be pad chatter. Will be servicing the bike soon anyways.

Will have to try this "key" rattling fix. Would be wild if that was it the whole time.

i adjusted these rubber cushions for the plastic piece on the gas tank around the ignition. will test out soon…
great discovery ! anything simple enuf to at least reduce the vibration fm the tank which after every 30 mins or more ride, my little willie will feel the numbness. gonna open it up this weekend....

another solution.... yeah great... gonna do it since gonna remove the tank. but the PAIR VALVE block/remove are mostly for the aftermarket exhaust not to back fire, but am gonna try if it can reduce the vibration. cheers.
