Thank you. with the next set i'll try to up a little the pressure on the rear, also try to be more gentle on the throttle

I think if could find for the right price would get a try on the roadtec, otherwise for the same expense i'll go again with the diablo 4

Diablo rosso basically dead after 4k km, as anyone tried the metzeler roadtec 02 ? They inspire me for some reason
I already change the stock rear Roadtec 01 to another Roadtec 01, the previous one had 23000km and around 3000km left but it started to be square in the middle so it's time to change. I would think about 02 when it came time to change the front that is still in good condition after that mileage.
There should be some reason that Honda choose Metzeler when the bike was presented first to the public, it must deliver the needed performance. They switch to the shitty Dunlop in search to cut the production cost to be competitive in that price range.

Wow, my bike had 16k km and I've already cooked three set of tires, stock shitty dunlop, angel gt2 and diablo 4, 23k km on the same tires is something impossible for me 😑

So the bike was presented with roadtec 01? They should be pretty similar to the Angel gt2, they lasted 7k km on mine, probably could've done better, but due to the MOT revision i had to change them to pass without any question

Diablo Rosso are more sport oriented tire with softer compound so they will not endure milage like the Roadtec or Michelin Road 6 which are touring tires. If you ride fast and aggressive the more sportier tires might be better fit for you and you need to sacrifice long mileage.

Well, I started on a real motorcycle too late to be fast and aggressive, sometimes I try to follow riders with that style but can't cope at all, probably the tarmac is more aggressive than me

Despite this, would be nice to find a balance, is why there is my interest in the roadtec 02, should be an adaptive tire which changes depending on the use and riding style applied in the moment

But don't have too much fate on the test by press/media/youtubers where it seems that everything is always too good if not excellent, and that's why I asked on some forums, but without luck for now

So as anticipated, good price I'll get a try. same price diablo again

Why not the Road 6? It's a touring tyre, like the Roadtec, and there's plenty of good reviews, here on the forum.

Myself included. 😁

I really take the road 6 in consideration time ago, and because I had read a lot of good reviews here, at last moment had opted for the angle gt2, a touring tire themselves, really not bad at all, but would like something between that and the diablo, something a little more sporty

This new metzeler is named as a "super-sport touring tire" thanks to their adaptive compound, maybe is too many things for a tire, maybe works well

Don't believe 100% on their marketing campaigns.
A good touring tyre must have good durability and that means harder compound, less grip, less sporty. While a good sport tyre will be softer and with less durability. There's no perfect, do it all, tyre. You always loose something to get something in return.

Before buying the Road 6, the Dunlop Mutants were on my list. They also call it a super tyre to do everything (touring, sport, off-road). I never believed that. I just had them on my list because I believe they might be better at touring than anything else.

Any tyre can do anything! I did an off-road trail with lots of rocks with Road 2 tyres on a naked. Crazy adventure! 😅
But they can't do everything well!

You just have to find the ones with the right balance between what you want / like. If you think the Roadtecs are good for you, then go ahead and try them. No one else rides like you. So no one else, but you, can tell if they're perfect for you.

Sport-touring tyres are very good though. They generally have a harder compound in the middle for mileage and then softer compound at the edges for grip when you are riding hard. I have the Roadtec 02 on my bike and they have been great. You can hustle them pretty quickly and they still stick. That being said, my front tyre is almost due for replacement and I think I might try the Michelin Power 6 this time.
