This is a new one for me! I have had my cbr650f new form 2014 and park all the time in the sun. And it gets really hot in Northern Thailand. Maybe it's your fuel what are you using? I run mine on strait 95 benzine it's not what the book says but it works for me. What does Honda say?
I really think you guys complain too much. I have a 2014 cbr from new and ride it almost everyday. It is so dependable even in my conditions. It is very hot and the sky is so thick with air pollution you can cut it with a knife. The more you ride your bike the less problems you have, and make...
What's the difference between 520, 525 and 530 chains?
The numbers indicate a chain's dimensions, tolerances, minimum tensile strength and other specifications, using a system instituted by the Japanese Industrial Standards Committee. The JIS standard is very similar to chain standards developed...
It all depends on your roads and the d222 were not good for me in Thailand. I change mine in the wet season as there was just too much slip on them on our roads. Now if you are having the same problem then I would change right away, if not get a wear gauge and keep going.
I guess it must suit your area where you live. I live in the mountains and there are a lot of gravel roads that I travel on. Even thro I have had the bike for over 6 years now and had a few drops I still don't want to give up and sell her. But I am thinking maybe I should as the bike is too...
The mirrors from a cbr250r fits a cbr650f perfectly a it gives you about 1 1/2 inch of length. I know this as it was the first mod. I did, and avery good one.
Most of the servicing on the Honda is not that hard. I have never taken my bike to a Honda Dealership for service. Remember the warranty is only good for 1 year so find yourself a good repair shop, maybe one that will let you work with them on your bike. Don't give up!
Here in Thailand they wear the mask when riding their scooters but they don't wear helmets often. The mask must have super powers as I see this everyday. Maybe I should leave my helmet at home? Ha Ha
Your not crazy! They treat you like they treat me. If I were you I would try and get my money back and say the hell with Honda, and you can take that to the bank.
That's Honda! When I was changing my spark plugs and didn't have the right tool for changing them. I rang up Honda to see if I could buy one.
They said bring your bike in and we will change them. Well I told them I had my bike all striped down and that I lived more than 150klm from them. Than...
Like you I made a few mods. but the two that made a big difference was my Termignoni full carbon exhaust and my bikers fully adjustable rearset. The exhaust has a deep base sound and the rearset fits my foot perfectly and makes shifting a complete joy.
I agree with Itchytoe, as I been riding my bike from new since 2014 in very hot weather and never had a overheating problem. So yes check the sensor out as they can go at anytime. I do change my water more often than what the book says because of the heat and use only Honda radiator water.
My plugs never made it to the 24000 km service I was running on 3 cyl. at about 21000 km. Your problem sounds like you might need a new battery with all those cold starts in Canada.
I have a Akra on my cbr250r and it is much loader than my cbr650f with the baffle in. So I don't know what you guys are talking about. Maybe you would be better off riding electric bikes with no sound? Nobody wants them in Thailand as they are too dangerous to ride with no sound and too costly...
I am not going back and forth on this matter as I have much more pressing things on my mind. Like having to leave
Thailand by the 26 of this month ,me and two to three hundred thousand visa holders. With no borders open and
my friends with a handful of canceled flights. Everybody is praying...
Devilsfan, You seem to think you know me. That my exhaust makes people roll their windows up because it's so loud. Well
that's just not the case. If you had my exhaust on your bike you would know it has a great base sound with the baffle out.
And it doesn't bother any one as my next door...
