    All 650's Transmission problems

I also had this problem years ago on my 2014 cbr650f bike , dropping out of gear and hard to put in gear. I changed the rearset to a fully adjustable one and never had the problem again.

What was your worst accident or emergency situation?

Here in Thailand, there are many dogs roaming the streets. One day on a very quiet street in the middle of nowhere I was doing about 130km on my bike when a dog runs in front of me crossing the street. Little did I know that he was being chased by another dog and I went right between them. A...

All 650Rs TERMIGNOMI EXHAUST - Who's in the know?

I have had mine for over 5 years now and I am very happy with it. I do prefer to ride with the baffle out but the police are cracking down on loud exhaust no matter how good they sound

    All 650's Max speed?

Your right, I have not hit top speed on my bike in a long time now. Bad roads, potholes, and dogs as it is their mating season in my area. Strong winds would be another factor. Also in Thailand, you have to wear a mask while riding your bike, I feel pretty stupid but there is a fine if you don't.

CB650R Loud/clunky shifts, getting stuck in neutral

I have a 2014 cbr650f and I had trouble from the start changing gears. They were sort of going halfway or skipping a gear. Yes, I thought it was me at first and I got so mad at myself that I bought a new Bikers fully adjustable rear set and never looked back and I haven't missed a gear in 7 years.

How old , how long on a bike

When do we ever stop riding? A t 74 you would think soon but I feel better now than I did when I was in my forty"s..Just last week I felt like a pizza so I got on my bike and rode over 100km for a pizza. But the ride was through the hills, and a most enjoyable trip. I guess one day we will be...

How old , how long on a bike

I started out on an l2ca in Australia, than went to a DT250 when I was working for Yamaha. A good friend had a RD 350 and let me ride it often. I also moved to Thailand about 20 years ago and I am happy that I am here right now. The virus is bad where I live with the hospital being full and 2...

    All 650Rs Hello from Ireland … 👋

Watch out for the potholes! We have been getting a lot of rain in northern Thailand and the holes get deeper and deeper. What's the weather like in Ireland?

    Anyone else here from Asia?

You live in Chiang Mai City. The area of Chiang Mai is huge and I live about 150 km north of Chiang Mai City

All 650Rs TERMIGNOMI EXHAUST - Who's in the know?

I have been riding with my Termignoni exhaust DB killer out since 2014. At that time I tried to tell many on how good it was but most had their minds on other exhaust at the time. After all these years I think it was my best choice and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

How old , how long on a bike

In a few days, I will be 74 and I feel better today than I did when I was 40. If you don't let yourselves go to pot, who knows how long you can ride for. The weather in Thailand has been raining in my area almost every day but it hasn't stopped me as I have been trying out my new wet weather...

    CB650F Your favourite Mod!

Bc.Rob, If you really want to see how it looks, go to your Honda Dealer and ask for a 2011 cbr250r mirror set I think the mirror will be the same for a few years onward, and try one on. It will take 3 minutes, I would send you a picture but my bike is with a friend

    CB650F Your favourite Mod!

Luke, I made a few other changes like the levers brake and clutch to adjustable. Also, I changed my mirrors to a cbr250r mirror which gives an extra 1 1/2 inches extension and they just screw in. One more a tail tidy, everything else is stock no mapping or changing to A.M. air filters. I have...

    I test rode a Kawasaki Versys 650 and Versys 1000 S

I don't know about you Jerry but our riding is restricted here in Thailand at least in my area as lockdowns for the virus are growing too often. And it is the rainy season. I hope you are having better luck in your country. Happy trails!
