I bought my first-ever, brand new bike in Nashville at Sloan's. Are they still in existence?

Sloan's it's where I bought the bike, but unfortunately I could not book at the time when the QS issue started, first available date was after a month, this is why I went at Howard's.

EDIT: yeah they still in business

So after bringing in the lever/rod last Thursday, and haven't heard anything back from the dealer, I called them today and asked when the bike would be ready, and "oh your bike is ready and you can come pick it up whenever you want".
This Howard's Honda in Nashville is probably one of the worst dealers I ever dealt with.

So Honda is gonna refund me the QS, they will send both QS and ECM to Japan and they'll let us know what's going on when they figure it out.
Obviously Honda is covering all the parts (new ECM installed) and labor.

Agenthunt996 @Agenthunt996 any updates on your side?
Hope they find something out doing that. I’ve got zero progress on my end they pretty much ghosted me. It’s been quite frustrating and I sent them a very heated message saying how disappointed I was with them.

My bike is back
The dealer gave me full refund for the QS even though I bought on Honda’s website
They kept saying Honda is good and is gonna make it right and fix it
We shall see what’s gonna happen

I didn't realise you had a PCV. The kit I sell will bolt right up, no cutting of rods, and - with the connector removed - will plug into the PCV with no trouble.

I too have a PCV. Where can we get said kit?
Why, simply go to the Shifting ContRoll page on my website, and click the "Add to cart" button for the CB(R)650 kit. Send me a PM or email with your PayPal address so I know from which kit to strip the connector - I haven't figured out how to do 'Special Instructions' yet.

If you look at the back of the PCV, you'll see a row of wire headers; two of them are labelled "QS". Simply insert the two wires from the sensor into those headers - it doesn't matter which wire goes to which header - and you're done with the physical hookup. You have to turn on the QS function in the PC tuning software, but that's beyond my scope of supply and competence.

It’s finally here
Only downside it didn’t come with both connectors for push and pull, only push was in the box
Not sure if it’s missing or it’s an option ($$$), the option would suck
Got in touch with them, let’s see what they say

it’s working very good, at the moment is set as single kill, probably gonna set up the speed sensor and hopefully can catch the single gears
Maybe I can fine tune it per each gears

The rod isn’t too bad, kinda like it being a bit beefier, seems sturdy
Had to shorten 5mm each thread.

went for a quick ride and it felt great, a bit jerky form first to second gear, but I expected it
The higher rpm the smoother it is.
Now it’s much easier to get to sixth gear 🤣

I'm fairly certain the sensor you bought was Push only. The great majority of their sensors, like mine, are single-acting; the switch trips on a push OR a pull. Pulling on a push sensor doesn't do anything.

The one I bought is a dual sensor, it actuates either in pull or push, based on how it's mounted on the rod. this is what the manual says.
and Only Upshifts, it doesn't auto blip. or at least what they told me.

yeah of course the switch by itself doesn't bring any functionality, if it isn't enabled in the device it's connected to. 😅
Great to hear you finally have a working quick shifter. So correct me if I’m wrong, but the only reason this quick shifter is working, is because it’s connected to the PCV and not to the oem connector? By the way, the CB and CBR650R don’t have the option to auto-blip down shift.

yes the QS is connected to the PCV, and the PCV is cutting fuel when actuating the QS.
