Not sure if it will throw on the lights on the dash.If they put an ECU from a ABS/traction version in, I think the problem is solved.
Its just dumb that it doesnt work from the factory. You would think they would have found that problem before shipping out all the bikes. I agree with MrFritz86 that throwing an ecu in from the abs and tc model might cause issues. If they put an ECU from a ABS/traction version in, I think the problem is solved.

Well I was expecting that response tbh. I guarantee it’s a software issue. Hoping they find the problem and put out a recall to get the ecu reflashed.Changing the ECU did not fix it, as expected
They’re going to get a model expert down the dealer to take a look at the bike
Also they said, Honda is trying to compare the European model to the US model to see if they spot any differences
And looking at the softwares as well in the ECUs
I think it’s a SW issue too, they probably forgot to enable it on this model 😅Well I was expecting that response tbh. I guarantee it’s a software issue. Hoping they find the problem and put out a recall to get the ecu reflashed.
Exactly! It really gave me a sour taste towards honda, but let’s hope they do the right thing and fix this ASAP. I really enjoy this bike but I spent 250 dollars on a part that doesn’t workI think it’s a SW issue too, they probably forgot to enable it on this model 😅
I’m just shocked how long it takes to fix it
If it’s gonna take me that long to fix a printer, the customer is probably gonna place it in the parking lot and buy a different brand
Gonna make a huge complaint out of this, a company like Honda should not let the customers down this much for such a small thing.
I know your pain. Contacted my dealer and haven’t had a response from them yet. Also contacted Honda and they never replied to me. Really shitty customer service if you ask meCalled Honda today complaining that is unacceptable they can't still figure it out.
Dealer called me last week asking for the QS Invoice.
The customer service guy asked when was the last time I heard from the dealer and I told him that the issue is not the dealer, it's Honda!!
They said a manager will get in touch with me in the next 24hours.
This is really testing my patience.
I like how they use that as an excuse. How about fix the problemThey called me back and here is the story
either get a refund for the QS or have it replaced to see if it's going to fix it.
and if it doesn't fix it, I still have the option to get a refund.
He kept saying it's too early to answer my question to why it's not working and at the end the answer would be that the bike it's just not compatible.
This is Honda...
I like how they use that as an excuse. How about fix the problem
They list the bike as compatible and then when it doesn’t work won’t fix it. Everywhere else in the world it works except here. Seems to me like it’s an ecu problemThat's the thing, I told him that it does not work like that
I wanna know why it does not work, I won't settle for a simple it's not compatible.
In EU it's working, why not in US?
What if the early US models are in somehow defective units?
He also said that most likely I won't get that answer and the only option is a refund.
I'm starting to understand why here in the US people hate so much Honda. At the beginning I just could not understand the reasons.

This Howard's Honda in Nashville is probably one of the worst dealers I ever dealt with.
