All 650's Vibration?

I thought my 2018 cb650f was buzzy and rattley but I didn't think that translated into any unusual vibration , if that makes sense.

Welcome to the world of 4 Cylinder engines!
However I have noticed adding an after market exhaust has worsen the vibration (even while idling) .Taking the baffle out adds to the vibration even more. I may revisit the exhaust mounting points.
That was my 2 cents here.

They can be, but not always are. You need counterbalances in there to smooth them out, on this bike they went without them.

Sometimes the 4 cylinders, if not well designed / balanced and / or isolated with silent-blocks, can have high frequency vibrations, the most harmful ones for tingling hands. The 2 cylinders vibrate more but usually at a low frequency. It then depends on the type of engine, frame, supports, etc. I know that with the CBR we keep the vibrations. I repeat, however, with the Puppy over-mittens in neoprene, the hydraulic insulating shirts on the fork rods, are passable ... as soon as I can I put a photo. Hello.

High frequency vibrations are not uncommon for a 4 cylinder engine but they are currently not a “problem” or as noticeable with every 4 cylinder bike. Especially the bigger touring models are often much smoother than for example the little CB650R. With the short gearing of the CB650R, you are much quicker in the high revs and on this bike you feel it in the handlebar, seat and foot pegs. That said I only notice the vibration between 5500 and 6000rpm in my handlebar, I just don’t stay long in this rpm range 😁. Swapping my stock exhaust for a akra did not change anything thing for my bike (no more no less vibrations). I didn’t tell my wife that there are vibrations in the seat 😂😂😂😂

Mine will buzz a lot too, (CBR 650R). I thought it was weird at first, but I am used to it now. I would not worry about it. It does not buzz at 11k btw... lol only in those ranges, that were mentioned above.

They particularly bother me, I have peripheral neuropathy in the limbs ... hello.
