I ordered myself some s21 r/f. i really got to say that the stock dunlops were okay when having very high outside temperatures but slipped in some situation what made me not trusting this piece of rubber at all...specially with slightly wet roads the d214 seemed as not having any grip at all when cornering. I guess iam lucky that i made it aroung 5.6k Km with those. Really looking forward for the upgrade! I will post a short resumè on them after i've put some km on them.

I ditched my D214’s with only 300 miles from new CBR650R. Purchased S22’s (Fitted for £298) Even though neither sets are worn in yet the feel is noticeably better on S22. Left the D214’s in the tyre shop and rode away. Don’t see the point in riding on mediocre tyres if you don’t have to.

Until yesterday, I had been used the Bridgestone T31 for 8000km mileages. Due to puncture, I replaced it to Michelin ROAD5.
T31 was very stable, reliable and durable tires. Grooves remained more than 60%, if I have not faced punctures I could use it about 15000km. What a waste! I ride my CB650F for commuter, except for snowing. T31 gave me stable grips even in the rain or cold (under 0 degs).

The ROAD5, I feel softer than T31. More comfortable. But still don’t know about grips.

But the motorcycle’s tire is expensive. Only 2 qty needed, but more expensive than 4 qty my car’s one.

Pirelli Diablo Tyres for me next and at £119 a pair delivered. Had them on my Aprilia Tuono 1000.
Current tyres and I only have been out a couple of times since I got the bike, inspire no confidence at all.

The pirelli angel is an excellent tire! The only reason you would need more traction is if you were competing on track. The pirelli Ross'os wear way to fast!

I switched from Dunlop stock 222's to Dunlop Sportmax Q3 Plus. Excellent tire IMO. Leaning into a corner is quicker yet smooth and I ride a fair bit of twisty here to get a feel for that. Traction is super. I have about 6,000 km on them now and they are wearing slowly. They should last well.
