The French just changed the law and if you are caught riding at 51kmh (30mph) over the limit, you risk a €3000 fine and 3 months in jail.

It’s an amazing country to ride through (incredibly smooth tarmac everywhere), but use Waze and some caution if you are visiting this year.

Sorry, nothing to do with France but thought I’d share.
50 KMH over in the province of Ontario, Canada is considered stunt driving.
30 day license suspension, 14 day vehicle impoundment, a fine of $2,000 - $10,000 and your insurance skyrockets. But no jail time!
However! We can pass on a solid double line in most places.
