Take your time with it and be very comfortable with your new bike before trying a passenger. Nothing turns off a new passenger than a less-than smooth ride.Very valid point. Its just intimidating, as they are to a lot of people. I sure will post pics! Can't wait
Get her in a comfy state of mind, completely willing to try (scared is ok) go around the block only. If that works go around two blocks, if that works 3. If she’ll do 3 and still feels comfy try a short backroad hop a mile or two only to some place she likes to go (food, shopping, whatever), kinda like a reward.
After that you should be good be to go but ride VERY conservatively until she’s ready, corners are what freaks people out and the last thing you need is someone freaking while leaned over.
Seriously, try this, it works very well. Someone told me these steps years ago, I used it several times, most recently with my wife (then girlfriend) who HATED bikes before she met me and she now pretty much won’t let me go by myself anymore!!!
