Hello everyone, i have a 2018 cb650f and it has 56k miles on it. When purchased the owner told me it has a suspected head gasket leak. No water in the oil when i drop it there was a little on the dipstick but think it could just be condensation from sitting as it was near the thread side of the dipstick.
My question is would a older cb650r or the newer cb650r engine be a straight swap as there are a few on ebay for pretty cheap?? Honda want silly money to do a head gasket replacement if it is an issue and does end up needing to be replaced. I can bolt in a complete engine for cheaper but is just plug and play as far as different engine years are concerned or will they not work with the 2018 abs model ??
