I've had the paint colour of the engine side-casings matched by RS Bike Paints.
My intention is to use it on some parts, however, if anyone needs to touch-up their casings, they now have it stored on their database.
As it is the first time they have had this colour, it is stored under my name and not Honda 650f.
If anyone does need touch up, I'm happy to share the details.
30ml touch ups are £8.50 and 400ml aerosols are £16.50.......current prices.

I have also had to place my new bike in the floor yesterday after avoiding an idiot speeding out of a junction luckily no other damage accept a small scratch on the side of my right engine casing. Would like to know colour if not I’ll replace the casing.

I believe at one time he said it wasn’t an official Honda color but was listed under his name or something similarly personal with what he has.

At least that’s my recollection.

Looked into this, this paint has to be high temperature and the casing is aluminium. I’m going to approach Honda on Monday and see if they can supply the code. £150 for a new case is quite expensive for some minor scratching so I’ll see what I can find out.

Might be cheaper to import the part... Casings are cheap in the USA for example.

Ok, so I DIDN'T drop my bike... but.. which is kinda worse.. as I was out riding something was thrown off the road at me with such force that the incredible BANG of it hitting meant I yelled and just about deafened DP through the helmet comms! God knows what it was but 3 chips out of my pristine bronze crankcase cover. Like everyone else I'm having a hell of a time trying to get touch up paint and I'd be very grateful if you could share the code with me Bob.

Oh, and I noticed someone earlier in this thread saying they'd ask Honda for the code. I did, and here, verbatim, is their response:
"We are able to provide the main color code for the body of any motorcycle. Should you wish to know the code for your motorcycle, please provide us with its registration number.
If you are interested in learning the color code of the crankcase cover in particular, please inquire at a Honda dealership regarding that, but please be advised that we do not keep a database of color codes for individual components."

I frankly don't believe for a second that they keep no record of paint colour. So what, when spraying the CB range engine covers they just say "oh, mix up something bronze-ish"!? I think not.

Anyway, I contacted my Honda dealer, who said they also don't have this information.

I hope I'm saving people some time by sharing this, and if anyone can please let me know that code from RS paints? Thanks a bunch.

Hello! I was wondering if the bronze paint on the older Cb650's are the same as the bronze on the 2019 CB650R. If so, would someone be able to send me the details on the bronze colour? I am going to try and paint a few other parts the same colour so that everything matches a bit better. The few silver bits on the 2019 CB650R are driving me crazy... Thank you!

It's not his name that defines the color. It's a certain (combination of) color code(s) of a certain brand applied to the paint of a certain brand.
