I've seen a few posts about this issue and I can't seem to fix my bike. A little background before I start mentioning the problem I am facing. I've got a 2019 CB650R-A and the previous owner must have been hammering the clutch because the clutch discs were slipping a lot. I replaced the clutch and noticed that the pressure plate was broken - so I replaced that. My motorbike wasn't turned on for 2 weeks. Once I put new oil in and replaced the oil filter, the bike won't start. The fuel pump could be heard priming. There was a single-click noise coming from the starter relay. I tried the ignition a few times and the click turned into multiple clicks like a machine gun.
I then used a batter jump booster to jump-start the bike, thinking the battery was dead - it won't start. The starter relay was making one click. I ensured my kick stand wasn't down when starting the bike. I opened the throttle for 5 seconds - the bike won't start. I took the battery and charged it. Put it back in and tried to start it - again, won't start and there was one click from the starter relay.
The CKP is plugged in and my engine kill switch is on. The ignition pick on the clutch cover can't be in the wrong way because I did not touch that and there is no reason for it to be in a different position than it was before.
At this point, I do not know what the issue is and how to go about fixing it.
