Is there an accessories plug for sat navs or phone charging anywhere on the bike?

There is a plug that uses a weird molex-style connector at the front if the bike that can be used but was installed for the optional heated grip. It's location is in the service manual.

I ran battery tender leads from the terminals:

Then when you need to trickle charge, simply plug it in.

When you need to charge a device, use this:
Amazon product

I have a USB cable fixed down the side of the bike also. You cannot see the USB cable or the tender lead off the battery unless you bend down and specifically look.

I'd prefer that as well. I wired my led lights directly to the battery also because I couldn't find the right wire to use for ignition switching.

Yes, but I didn't go this route because I didn't have a way to just splice a positive wire in there due to the specialized port on it.

Can you buy a port that has wire leads coming out of it?

You would think... But maybe not since Honda just intended you to plug your heated grips in with the compatible port...?

It doesn't look Honda specific. Just a case of figuring out what it is and then hitting Google.

Looks odd.

My Google-fu shows a couple different looking things. Still looks like you'd have to snip some wires.

Wonder if you could use the pos & neg coming off it, rather than a ground to the frame?

Assuming that is a negative coming off of it.

It is 12v and 0v.

You could go to the frame, but why bother if 0v is right there.

Yes it does, I have it powering all sort it's a decent ampage connection. I have grips, phone, camera, indicator cancellers.

Ditched the connector for my own tamaya plugs.
