I got the OEM C spanner for adjusting the preload from a friend, but I don't have the extension bar for the spanner, which is referenced in the service manual. Without it, I found there is not enough leverage to turn the preload adjustment clip.
So, I went the RevZilla. But, I did not find the...
How’s it going everyone. Today I’m opening a discussion on Hondas claim that the Showa SFF-BP forks on 2021+ year model CBR650R are fully adjustable.
I’m sure most of us think they aren’t adjustable at all, but when I thought I could remember reading somewhere that they were adjustable I went...

I find the back shocks are pretty bouncy at the factory settings. Any suggestions on what's the best setting for a heavier guy like me ?
Also is is easy to set yourself ? Do you need a special tool ?
thanks !

Has anyone adjusted their pre load on the rear shock? I think the front is not adjustable...
I ride mostly with a passenger and wondering if I should make it stiffer. Do I really need to? Will it make it a less comfortable ride?
Thanks for your help in advance.
