All 650's Part number for the extension bar for the preload adjustment C spanner

I got the OEM C spanner for adjusting the preload from a friend, but I don't have the extension bar for the spanner, which is referenced in the service manual. Without it, I found there is not enough leverage to turn the preload adjustment clip. So, I went the RevZilla. But, I did not find the...

How To Adjust Preload, Rebound and Compression

How’s it going everyone. Today I’m opening a discussion on Hondas claim that the Showa SFF-BP forks on 2021+ year model CBR650R are fully adjustable. I’m sure most of us think they aren’t adjustable at all, but when I thought I could remember reading somewhere that they were adjustable I went...

    All 650Rs 2021 CB650R Preload Adjustment for 280lb Rider.

How do you know when you have the right amount of preload? I am 280lbs and I have it set to 9. The back end feels very rough when riding, but it squats when I accelerate. The bike also seems to be off balance. When I engine break, the bike tilts foward. Is this due to too much preload or not...

CB650R I weigh 210 pounds...what's the best "preload" setting for back shocks ?

I find the back shocks are pretty bouncy at the factory settings. Any suggestions on what's the best setting for a heavier guy like me ? Also is is easy to set yourself ? Do you need a special tool ? thanks !

    All 650's Preload on spring?

If nobody here has yet, I would highly suggest watching David Moss on youtube, the guy is an absolute genius when it comes to motorcycle ergonomics, performance, and suspension. He is an absolute wizard. With that being said, I notice now that my rear suspension on the 2018 CB650F is way too...

All 650's What is the best rear suspension preload setting?

I believe preload is the word I'm looking for here. Anyway, when I got my bike, the rear shock was adjusted to the highest possible setting on the rear shock. I'm a tall guy, so this isn't much of a bother, but I'm wondering how adjusting it will change the ride characteristics or center of...

    All 650's Suspension

Has anyone adjusted their pre load on the rear shock? I think the front is not adjustable... I ride mostly with a passenger and wondering if I should make it stiffer. Do I really need to? Will it make it a less comfortable ride? Thanks for your help in advance.
