Can be fixed easily enough if you take the cover off and reapply some sealant of the correct type.
Whether that's worth it though is your call. Not going to be a big mechanical issue though... Just a looks thing.

I subjected my 2014 to a "hard break-in", kinda of accidentally.
It's still going fine 12 years and 45k miles later, doesn't use any significant oil and started first press of the button this year after a 4 month sleep.
Relax, it's a Honda.

Ouch ... at least you definitely got the right part! That hole is massive.
The satisfaction from a fix of that size ... I bet it feel's great!
Good job!

4 on clutch, brake... It depends, 1, 2 or 4 depending on the situation.
It's a question of how much finess versus how much "oh s**t!" is going on at the time.

OK, so those codes provider a lot of noise to work through. Although 1-2 is interesting and relevant to your issue as could 9-2.
If you have a spare IAT sensor (on top of airbox) try swapping that out to see if it makes any difference.
First step - make sure the battery is fully charged...
Good write up and diagnosis.
If it works fine with the map sensor unplugged, then try replacing it.
Have you got it to read out the DTC codes? That could help you a lot.

How's the chain slack? A closeup of the procket teeth would also be useful. Also, where's the adjuster on it's guage (by the axel nut)?
4.5k should be nothing for a set of sprockets, closeup pics are a must here.
Unless the previous owner didn't oil the chain at all, you shouldn't need to be...
Can you upload a pic of the sprocket, chain and adjuster meter on the swingarm?
4500 is very very low. To be worn that quickly, it must have almost never been oiled/lubed.
Are you the only owner of the bike?

Check all connectors / wiring then. If that's all OK then it's going to starting to look like a broken ECU.
ECUs are usually pretty reliable though ... so more likely a broken wire / bad connector.
