I have that trouble as well ! Has anybody noticed how jacket sizes vary so wildly, I have some jackets up to 5xl in order to fit. but an AGV Sport Hawk textile jacket only 2xl with plenty of room ?!
Exactly, you don't want metal key tags, like some shown on here , clanking around as you ride and damaging paintwork . I have a simple leather key tag with my initial stamped on it.
quote - 'Clyde shipbuilders profited, too. Fraser recounted how at one point no fewer than 42 ships were being built by Clyde yards specifically for blockade-running, including the “Flamingo” class of shallow-draft paddlers, reputedly the fastest paddle steamers ever built. Denny built 20...
The cb650 lowering kits don't use longer links to lower the bike because it obviously doesn't have a suspension linkage, Lust Racing provide a different adjuster thing that fits under the shock spring. T rex also do a similar thing. They would seem to be more involved than replacing the links...
I have now done exactly the same thing, topped up with green Prestone coolant ,couldn't see a thing looking at level marks on overflow bottle, filled slowly, then it came out of filler neck. Tilted bike over so more drained out on to garage floor ,thought I saw fluid above upper mark so let some...
Point taken on the clutch in technique at traffic lights or stopped in traffic, but as far as the other videos go, I can't see how the jumping off the bike at every stop is practical ,and I can see setting off with a foot on the left foot peg leading to trouble. It wouldn't work in stop/start...
I usually put the bike in neutral if I am stopped for any length of time, so always putting the left foot down at standstill doesn't work . Keeping the clutch pulled in and the foot on the rear brake is a good idea on a hill though. I don't know how the lowering kit would work on the cb650f but...
I had a Lust Racing links kit to lower the seat in relation to the ground on a Honda NC700X which required the steering head dropping down the forks by about 12mm and the side stand shortening to suit. It all worked ok.
I would like a lower seat on my 2018 cb650 and slightly raised bars but my...
8k or 5,000 miles isn't much, but assume the previous owner didn't have anything serviced .If you have changed the oil and filter that is the main thing a dealer would do at that mileage anyway apart from check the chain adjustment and a general look over the bike I think. I doubt whether they...
My opinion for what it's worth - take it easy at least up to the first 600 mile service and never go up to the redline after that. I have never gone up to the redline on any of my bikes but that's just me.
As far as gear goes I find a waterproof 'breathable' textile jacket with zip vents front and back and a removeable thermal lining caters for most weather riding conditions.
Always wear protective gear when riding, there shouldn't be any bare skin exposed.
I have never actually had an automatic car or motorbike, but I also prefer to be in control of gear changing . Using the clutch, throttle and gear lever is all part of the skill in riding a motorbike I think , but some people obviously like the automatic bikes and scooters.
Anybody note a hint of sarcasm in my original comment to skeletor !
ps it was meant to be a humorous response to the grampa thing .
pps I do know bikes have these things, I have had a bike with traction control. :)
Just to confirm ,as my attempt at humour has obviously fallen flat, but my auto...
