Still using my red $40 china levers from amazon and they are just fine. Shorter than stock and have a better shape, plus they look very nice. They did not fall apart or otherwise fail like a lot of the bullshit peddlers trying to sell you $300 levers claim.

I had Chinese levers on one of my other bikes. I rode it for 3 years and did a 5 country tour without issue. I've got 2 other bikes and went with V-Trec levers only because they are stamped with EU homologation numbers needed to pass inspection otherwise I would still be using Chinese levers.

I have MZS levers on my MT03, they work fine, but definitely feel and look cheap. The CBR is too nice for those. Also one annoying thing is that when I pull to ~full force on the brake lever, theres a tactile click it makes where there some sort of slight bind or misalignment with the adjustment lever part. Took me a while to figure out thats what it was coming from until I saw the adjustment thingy move when the click happens.

This is what I finally installed:
under 200 CAD. Sturdy built.

I ended up getting the ASV levers someone mentioned earlier in this thread. They weren't that easy to find. I kind of wanted the gold ones, but I could only find silver. Went for my first ride with them tonight. Definitely nice having both of them a little closer at hand than before, and the fact that they fold forward in case of a drop is nice.

Did you get short or standard size? I ask because I’m wondering if on a shorty clutch maybe you can only get 2 or 3 fingers on it, less leverage, so maybe your hand cramps up in traffic? Or the fact you can adjust it much closer makes it super easy to pull with 2 fingers? My hands are not so big, so the stock lever is a stretch for me. If you got standard size, are they the exact same size as stock?

Main reason: When you drop your bike or slide it, your levers will still be there (if they're good quality).
With my first bike accident experience, everything worked fine except I had a really messed up lever, had to pay towing just because of it.

Side reason: adjustable bite point, and looks
I also got ASV short levers so I can brake/clutch with two fingers instead of four, gives me more control over my bike.
Since CB650R comes with hydraulic clutch cables, you don't really need all four fingers to hold it down.

Ordered the V-trec long levers from motea.com with a 25% discount, black on black to add more black on my already blacked bike, and its strange if you think I would love to get the chance to had it in chromosphere red from new

Slightly bored about those big and ugly oem silver levers

Could you let em know how you get on with them? I ordered a set about a month ago and could not get the Clutch Lever to fit, if yours do fit OK (And i really hope they do) I would love to get the Part numbers from you so i can order a set for myself. in reasonable assurance they will fit!

Ordered them yesterday after some good reviews found here, and the discount offer, I think they'll arrive next week or maybe the other, this is the link of what I bought, really hope they fit as described at this point 😅

I am convinced they sent out the wrong part on mine tbh, the brake lever fit like a glove, but the Clutch lever was way off, and did not look right at all when offered up.
Fingers crossed, if i can get the right part numbers i will re-order as i thought the levers did feel really good quality.

If v-trec clutch doesn't fit, they sent you the cbr600f part by mistake.

Did that to me once. Get in contact... They'll sort it out.

Levers arrived and put them straight on the bike, they fit right and are super easy to mount, great quality too in my opinion

Sorry for you, but pretty sure they send you the wrong parts, I can take a look at sheet inside the box if you need, maybe there is some part number

If you can I would really appreciate it mate, Glad they fit for you as I thought they were good quality and I was chuffed when the brake lever went on, it felt great. If I can get your part numbers I will get an order in!
