Shoei Rf1200 comms system?

Does anybody here have a cardo unit fitted on their Shoei Rf1200? I bought the slim and tried my hardest to get it to fit but it wasn’t happening. Speakers were too big and made the helmet fit terribly after. I want to stay with cardo since both my friends use cardo. Does any other variant of cardo system work with these helmets?

The speakers are connected with a simple 3.5mm jack, so I think any headset with a 3.5mm jack should work, assuming the wiring is adequate for in-helmet use.

Yes, an older Cardo Q3 on my RF1200 here. It replaced an earlier Q1 system. Memory serves, I did have to adjust the position of speakers somewhat to allow comfort. I had upgraded speakers to larger diameter stolen from a headphone set, back then Cardo offered no upgrades to the tiny, low output speaks they supplied with system. 6-7 years later, still intact and working fine.

So if you're having fitment issues, try adjusting speaker position first.
