I believe they are. Velcro pad in the built-in spots of the helmet.
I did try to add a spacer to get them closer, but they stuck out too far then.

@Xorro, I also have the "universal" clamp that lets me use speakers or earbuds and boom or wired microphone.

I have the wired mike and speakers installed in both my helmets and switch between my custom earplugs with audio and speakers/normal earplugs when it suits.

I have a Bell Qualifier DLX which has a slot for the SENA smh10 on the outside and a bell specific slot on the inside as well.
The forum seems to agree that the SENA is the one to go for. Good helmet btw. You can swap your SENA to this helmet for about $40 apparently.
