Those who have a seat cover, what kind did you get?
I've been looking at getting one, and the easiest option is getting a OEM one, but it'll set me back €170. I've seen aftermarket ones for a little less than €80 which is quite a substantial difference. I have my doubts about the colors being an exact match though, and possibly how well they fit.

Do any of you have an aftermarket (non-OEM) seat cover. How much did it cost, where did you order it and how does it look?

I can tell you I will be sending my seat away to have memory foam fitted in the winter. They do plain and gripper seat cover but only in black I think. Don't you have a local upholsterer
than can do the job for you.

Are you looking for the seat cowl, plastic colour coded cover? If so, OEM expensive, but good job. I have red on my tricolour. There was lots on the old forum about them!!

Yeah, the seat cowl. Chances of having anyone on the back are slim and I like the sportier look of having a seat cowl on there.

For you / others who may not have one yet...

The seat cowl takes about 30 seconds to pop on/off. So even if you have a passenger once in a while, you can still throw the cowl on in-between to keep things sexy.

Just ordered the OEM one this afternoon. A lot more money (£130) when compared to the copies however have in the past regretted buying cheap - you get what you pay for.

Worth it (my opinion).

Looks great and holds up well.
I've taken mine off/back on plenty of times (carefully) when my wife rides and have no issues.

Well spotted on the engine bars ... only passed my test in June and before that have only been riding since April therefore thought they were required for at least the first 12 months!

That looks really nice. I'm going to FL in October perhaps I can bring one back in the suitcase. Where did you order this from? Please give a review compared to the one supplied when it arrives.

cbr650matt,This seat is in a company in Thailand, that's why it is cheap i will let you
know the co.after i check out the seat.It looks like it is made well, but i only seen it
in pictures. It should be more narrow and more firm than the stock seat. This is what
i want but maybe not what you want.I will let you know in a few days how good it is.

Well this is the seat,it is a two part seat and the fitment is not as good as stock.
I have not taken it for a test ride yet because of the heavy rain but just seating
on it feels more narrow and more firm, and a different look.
