CB650R Rear crash protection

Hi guys,

New rider here. I was practicing U-turns in a yard when I had a very low speed drop. The R+G aero sliders did their job for the engine, but the brake lever took the brunt at the front (R+G bar end sliders didn’t do anything) and also a slight scratch on the exhaust.

My question is: is there anything on the market that sticks out to protect the exhaust etc? I have R+G cotton reels, but the exhaust is much further out than them.

thanks, but I couldn’t see anything about rear / exhaust protection. Maybe I overlooked it somewhere, as I had searched previously.

You can get a rad hose and place around the end of the exhaust. I call it a donut! Police may want to eat it

I did this on my old Ninja 250R.

It's cheap and ugly.

I think you would end up with a combination of rear spools and frame sliders to keep the bike parts off the pavement. Haven’t specifically seen anything for exhaust only.

Not disagreeing, just making the point that I have not seen any exhaust protection for any R models. There used to be some for the F but appear to be discontinued (I looked at Twisted Throttle, which used to stock that type stuff)
