Afternoon all,

I’m not technically an owner of a 650 yet, but I might do one day if I can pick up enough parts.

I’m planning on racing an older Honda in a technical innovation class (basically you can do anything you want)

I’m interested in the idea of using one of your swingarms to modernise the rear end and it seems to fit the bill so far

I’m looking for information i.e dimensions, part numbers, opinions, suspension info... I’m guessing I’d be better off starting a new thread in the mechanical and technical folder?

Not sure if it helps me being accepted on here I did my bike road test on a CB650F, not a bad little bike :):):)

Thanks for getting back to me, when you’re pushing into the unknown it’s always handy to have multiple points of view, especially from people that have knowledge on the bike already

Part numbers are in section F-23 & F-24 in this document for swingarm and shock absorber, pictures attached below:

This one is available on eBay from Italy for just under £47

Other than that, I'm of little use! Dimensions I'm sure we can help using a trusty old tape measure but there aren't any dimensions that I can find in any of the service manuals/parts diagrams etc.

That will definitely come in useful! Maybe I will start a new thread with a bit more detail and questions in a more appropriate section,

Thanks!
