today i rode without helmet in my driveway, i noticed strange noise coming from left side of bike- seems like it coming from left crankcase; noise is only comes when gears engage (when clutch is pulled, there is no sound) and it disappears when bike goes "freeway" with no throttle, i mean when is no tension from gears there is no sound . but i looked at the manual, - its starter/generator there. but noise is like it would be a little chain touching surface - at least is what it sound to me like. but funny enough i believe that chain is on the right side, not left.... so what could be the reason for that sound? unfortunately cant record it , don't have rear stand to put the bike on...as i said bike needs to be in gear and going to hear it
