Haynes have just released Manual 6461, for CB650F/FA '14 to '18; CB650R/RA 2019; CBR650F/FA '14 to '18; and CBR650R/RA 2019. It is a paperback, with the usual (poor) quality paper. I only got a copy yesterday, so cannot give a detailed review. At about £18 I thought it worth a punt, as it fleshes out the bare facts given in the official workshop manual.

Hey all, just in case any of you are interested in working on your bikes, Haynes UK has just released a new manual for the CB650 range. It includes the latest CB650R/CBR650R as well as the previous models(CB650F and CBR650F).
I just purchased it and I truly recommend it. I also own the Honda OEM Workshop Manual. I must say, they are quite relevant in their own way. The OEM is very technical and 'formal', whereas the Haynes, albeit as technical, is focused at the basic maintenance for the DIY'er.
As they are both fairly affordable, I would own both(and I do! LOL). But if you can only have one, perhaps the Haynes is the one to go for first.
Hope this helps!
Cheers, Ray.

I got one too when they were on a pre-order price of £14.99 on their website. Had it delivered at the end of January and I'd say it is certainly worth owning that and the shop manual. I agree with you completely in that the shop manual is to the point, uses technical language for specific parts etc and the Haynes manual tells you things in a less-techie kinda way.

They complement each other so I wouldn't hesitate recommending both.

Thanks for the tip off. Just ordered off Amazon for £17.49 - saving a little over getting it direct.

Good, I always get a Haynes manual for my bikes if they do one. Will order one. Cheers for the info.
