CB650F Greetings from Norway with my new 2018 CB650FA

Hi Guys!
I bought my new 2018 CB650FA about 3 weeks ago.
I've already modified it with a full Acrapovic Titanum Racing Line exhaust and a fender eliminator.
Waitng for more mods to arrive in the mail!
I bought it brand new from my local dealer with 0km on the odometer, also traded in my old 2004 Yamaha YZF-R6.
Spent the first three days riding the first 1000km (621 miles) and then had the initial service at the end of the first week.
It feels amazing to ride and an incredible improvement from my old sportbike, comfort wise!
I'm waiting for mods like brake and clutch levers and a radiator grille.
I also want some kind of windscreen, preferably not to big, and maybe also change out the original seat for a comfort/gel seat, If any of you guys have any suggestions here, please send me some links!

Great pic! But I don't recall you ever asking if you could pose in front of my house!!!

I have the Puig wind screen. About $120 USD and it helps...but doesn't eliminate the buffeting I get. (Every rider is different based on their height/seating position). I'm in the works / on the list with Madstad for them creating a better wind screen but that's going to be a while.
As for the seat I had to get something so I picked up a gel pad from Cycle Gear. It definitely helps but I want to hear more about the Bagsters (Euro) and I plan to get over to Daytona and hit Corbin's shop. Hopefully they'll have a seat for the CB in stock and let me try it out. Until then the gel pad will work but I got to do something with the OEM seat.

Yeah, I'm not totally sure what screen I want. I'm kinda tall also (6.2 feet) so dont really know what Will work best for me😅 I've seen some gel-pads, and I guess they might work but I would really like to replace the whole OEM seat with a gel memory foam seat or something! Found something like that om eBay, but they Are like 450$ plus 60$ shipping to norway and probably adds 60$ in taxes when it enters the country😂 the OEM seat gives me monkey butt after a couple of hours of riding, so I guess it might be worth the money though!

Yep! Seats will cost you at least $400, unless you know someone that can modify your OEM seat...and even then!

My $50 gel pad on sale will work fine for a while!

Also, Seat Concepts is a place to research for aftermarket seats. I bought one for my Crf250l and it was worth every penny.

Welcome, you wouldn't happen to be the guy that bought the last "new" 2018 CB650F at Nydalen which "forced" me to buy the 2019 CB650R would you?

But I did buy the last available 2018 CB650F from Alf Graarud Motors in Sarpsborg though haha

Nice to know other riders to ride with, I'll PM you if I ever plan a ride near your area!

Hehe, yeah tried them too after the one in Nydalen was sold. Ah well, i'm very happy with the 2019, even if it was a bit more expensive. Got a red one myself.

yeah I was honestly sceptical about the red because I had primarily set my mind on black, but the wine-red color is really growing on me, and now I really love it! I also got red brake and clutch levers with black adjusters fitted on the bike a few days ago, it looks sooo much better than OEM IMO!
