Ok, bought one of these, said it fits the bike. Got it today and I can't see how it will fit the bike.

Anyone got one, or experience off one.

Or send it back and get and abba one!

Is it not like the abba stand where you have to buy a fitting kit for your bike image.jpg

Ah, right, where can I get these, if you could point me in the right direction!
Skiing in Andorra so relying on WiFi to look on the website. (Slow for a response)

Well it looks you like you use a socket on one side of the stand and a Allen socket or hexagon socket on the other side BD603769-9916-4677-A740-29DD99615E61.png

Thanks, that makes sense, I took off the chain guard as I could see one potential mounting point on the other side but not the chain side. However I can see now how the hex/Allan combination would work.
It's a shame the constand website couldn't advise this when purchasing it!
Thanks again.

And I'm also amused my flag is Spanish at the minute!

I use one of these, good strong stand, never had any issues, had the 650 on it for 4 months solid whilst I was doing customisation stuff, no issues at all :)

So are the company you bought the stand from supplying the fitting kit for your bike ?

This is the response, at the bottom it reads like there should be.
Do you read it like this?

Sorry internet awful in Andorra. However does this look right for where you would put the allen socket and hexagon?

It isn't anything to do with the suspension mounting is it ?! You should have the threaded rods but it seems poor leaving you to sort out the other parts required to fit your bike. If the company can't tell you exactly what is required to fit your bike I would want to tell them you want a refund and would get an Abba Stand. As others have said Abba provide a specific kit ,basically a spigot for one side of the bike and a round socket for the other side, for the cb650f.

Sorry the way I looked at it and if you zoom in on bobstrax photo you can see it is just a normal socket just looked at the size it’s a 27mm and Allen socket on the other side of the swing armDE6622F3-E3D6-43DE-A7B4-146585687B3D.png

Don't see how that works ! Putting it crudely, on the left side of the bike there is a hole requiring a spigot fitting on the stand to fit into the hole. On the right side the stand requires a round socket to fit over a rod on the bike. That is how it is on my cb650f .

They don’t supply sockets my ABBA stand uses this kit which you buy separate
Yes, Abba tell you the specific kit required for your bike and supply it, they don't leave the customer to fathom out what is required and then obtain it , but it looks like you have provided the information the other person needs, although I am not sure how the parts shown would allow things to pivot smoothly as the bike is lifted up ! As you know the Abba parts are round and smooth and greased to allow pivoting around the mounting points.

When I get back home, next week, I'll have a closer look, get some photos done, see what I need and do a small report/review regarding the constand thing.
Hopefully then it will benefit anyone looking to buy one.
