probably stupid question, but would it be possible to code in on flash software somehow to add driving mode's- - i know there driving modes on 1000cc model like Sport, Street and Rain... maybe adding its cluster to our model and doing some programming to ecu will add those mods?

No you would need a whole new ECU , one able to perform different engine loads . Down shift auto blip etc etc etc
Don’t think there is one out there for the 650 / woolich racing ecu software flash is your best or closest / once purchased you will be able to flash different maps / but you won’t be able to customise on the fly , the maps won’t be interchangeable as you ride …. Regards

I upgraded my CBR650R and now I can load different engine maps on the fly
I’ve got Street, Sport and Race maps now!

Before and after pic’s.

Probably a cheaper way to upgrade that the plain Modding route!

It is a beautiful bike. Does it seem true to you that ducs are more finicky than the Honda is?
I’ve always wanted a supersport. But the v2 also seems awesome.

The Supersport is an amazing bike. This will be my fifth season on it, still can’t see a reason to change it.

I don’t think I’d buy a used Ducati and a new one is just a little too much for me at the moment. But yes beautiful!
I bought mine as a leftover ‘17 towards the end of ‘18 or I wouldn’t have owned it either. The way to buy them, or any bike for that matter, is to get an NOS unit at a substantial discount or buy a used one with under 1,000 miles on it. Low mileage Ducatis are easy to find, people buy them all the time for the status symbols and never ride them. After they sit a year or so they decide it’s not worth it and sell. My first new bike was a ‘98 Superhawk bought in ‘00, my 600RR was an ‘11 bought new in ‘13, my ‘14 CBR650F was new bought in ‘15, the Ducati was mentioned earlier, even my Tracer was a factory press bike ‘20 model bought “brand new” in ‘22. I’ve saved thousands buying that way: I bought a ‘14 Triumph Thruxton in ‘16 with 14, yes 14, miles on it from someone who bought it on a whim at the end of ‘15, parked it and sold it that spring. I paid $6,200 for a brand new bike.

The newer Ducatis are more reliable than the old ones were but still can be problematic at times. But I wouldn’t pass up a maintained used one if I had the desire for one.

You know I’ve been thinking about getting a V4, cover it in Honda badges and graphics, slap my cbr plate on it, boom it’s a Honduc. Nobody will be the wiser. Cheap insurance and registration too. Just have to make sure not to crash it or get pulled over. Hmm maybe only for night rides 🤔 😂. Never ever selling my Honda 650 😂.
All jokes aside, I’ve seriously contemplated doing this with a cbr1000. Shh 🤫.

Please expand, as the only reason other bikes have different power settings is the electronically controlled throttle. Since ours is analog you can’t program settings on it.
What did you do? I can only imagine how much an upgrade like that would cost, plus all of the finagling because there are no kits for it

Man if you’re doubling down on his tongue in cheek comment, you have to throw some emoji’s in there. I truthfully can’t tell if you’re joking or not 😂. If you’re being serious, you just made sir Raginginferno’s day.

The reason question here is how did Ian Warren @Ian Warren accomplish this on a bike that has a cable throttle not TBW...
