I just took my bike to the shop to get the PAIR valve removed (along with some other maintenance) and they advised me that the bike would run very lean if I removed it. Is there any truth to that?

Did you have to do any cutting to make it fit or is it just a tight squeeze, but otherwise a stock fit?

Just a quick note: The guy doing the paint/fibreglass work said that he could create a mold of this and create more for us, if there is interest. He said it would cost around $500CAD painted.

Does anyone have an interest in a split seat conversion for their bike? I found a place in Thailand that does it (see here). If there is enough interest, I can try to score a group buy.

Yeah, I have the bike level in the garage and balanced upright. But, even when the bike is on the side stand, it produces the same results. For clarity, the top side of the stick is nearly dry, while the bottom is in spec.

I have checked my oil on a few occasions and the issue I've always had is that one side of the stick has next to no oil on (bottom of the first line) and the other side will be between the middle and the top line. The pictures below show what I'm talking about, although the photo quality is...
