    All 650's Free Maintenance Chain

Good point. But.... That'd be a hard look to integrate well on modern bikes.

    Farewell it's been fun.

Hate to hear it @Uncle Meat - but happy for you at the same time. You're certainly welcome to hang around still! One of my best friends of 25+ years who I ride with has an RnineT Cafe Racer edition. I see yours has different bars than his that will make it FAR more comfortable. His stock Cafe...

    Daytona Biketoberfest (now COVID Talk)

Have any of you ridden a chopper type bike like this? I've ridden lots of different bikes, but never anything with a rake like a chopper. I really want to experience it though.

Luggage Could use some advise on luggage for CB650R w/ tail tidy

Yea. My opinion is anything besides commuting type rides & it's best to strap the backpack to the bike. The extra fatigue / etc just isn't worth it.

Luggage Could use some advise on luggage for CB650R w/ tail tidy

I haven't tried, but I would expect them to get in each other's way. The 30, when packed, puffs out a good amount. Depending on what your purpose is with the 30 + backpack... Find a way to strap the backpack on the 30. If you run any kind of distance, backpacks increase fatigue quite a bit.

    Interesting video

I was surprised by the significance in weight difference. I expected it, but not quite so much. Love F9 vids... Watch them all.

Luggage Could use some advise on luggage for CB650R w/ tail tidy

I have the CBR650F with both a tail tidy and passenger seat cowl on. I run Kriega bags. Can't recommend them enough. They come with universal mounting equipment. Great thing about Kriega is you can add/remove other Kriega bags as needed (shorter/longer trips, etc). They're designed to fasten...

Your region also helps - many consider the riding season "year-round", right? But none of that minimizes it. That's awesome. A couple weeks ago I did 2,815 miles in about 8 days with some friends. I could've kept going - that's whats so great about the 650's!

Scooters can be so much fun, especially in the city. The old adage of "better to ride a slow bike fast" is overused, but so true.

    All 650's Oil leak

Are you sure its oil? You touched/smelled/checked color? If you can confirm its coming out of the hoses near the side-stand, you're likely ok, as they're overflows (evap/radiator/fuel). That's what they're there for. Are you sure its not drips off the chain?
