OEM windshield

Hi all I’m posting to see if anyone has used the OEM windshield for the 2017-2018 cb650f I know that it was made for the European models but I was curious if 1. Will it fit on a U.S. model and 2. If anyone has any experience with it and if It is worth it? I have the puig windshield and I can’t stand the thing it just throws my head around and i Think it’s just too tall. If anyone has any suggestions or answers I would really appreciate it!!!!

I've had the Honda fly screen on my 2017 CB since new.

Can't comment on the fit to US models but it fixes directly to the dial casings, so unless they were different on US models you may be OK.

The small screen really adds to the look of the bike. Not sure about any real wind protection, but it does protect the dials.

Hi Arthur, I am trying to find out how to attach this OEM windshield to my RC 97.

You wrote "directly to the dial casings", are there threads in the casing which need to be opened and used?
Meaning, I really need to dismantle the cockpit in full, to get there?
I can only find videos or pictures from other (after market) shields or from the older model and was hopeful, to attach a bracket just through the grid-parts of the casings outside

Perhaps you have a picture from "under" the windshield, which would really light this up for me
