CB650R Missing screw? Or hole for transportation purpose?

Every CB/CBR I've seen (including mine) has that hole, not sure what its used for but I'm 100% certain its not a missing bolt so no need to worry about it :D

CB650R Unknown gear/chain/engine noise, need help diagnosing

I recently changed my front sprocket and just so happens it doesn't come with the rubber damping that stock ones have. Since then I noticed the noise similar to the in the video. Its probably always been there just now its much louder, I have aftermarket exhaust and I still hear it over that...

    CB650R Gauges cluster whistles

I had same thought, I checked a diagram online that showed there to be a seal which looks like it should go where I put the sealant. At the time I assumed it must be between the PCB and the screen but then that wouldn't stop water getting past the plastic in the first place. Maybe it got...

    CB650R Gauges cluster whistles

Forgot to say if you don't want to start messing around with opening/taking off things then a thin bit of tape along the top of the dash will work to stop the whistle it just doesn't look as nice.

    CB650R Gauges cluster whistles

Right, well long story short. Open the dash, put a thin bead of sealant to fill the gap inside, then another tiny bead along the top of the dash after you've closed it up. NO whistle at all (tested up to 100mph, closed road of course). Don't know how long will last, but easy to re-apply if need...

    CB650R Gauges cluster whistles

I'm finally sick of the way the screen I fitted looks and hate the whistle so I'm gonna find a fix for this that doesn't need a screen for those who want looks over function. Can anyone who experiences the whistle let me know if your dash has a small gap between the layers in the middle? (see...

I just had that exact chain and sprockets installed last week and i definitely noticed the front sprocket noise. Its still very quiet but to me it stands out alot since I've never heard the sprocket before, just a sound i need to get used to. Actually i love the sound of it, has a slight winding...

Thanks :D Im based in the UK, lockdown isnt in effect anymore so can ride as much as i can :) What exhaust are you looking at getting? I just got the Akrapovic system fitted and having a hard time getting the sound right on it xD Too quiet with the baffle in, but too loud with it out (almost...

Haven't got a clue mate sorry. I'd assume the Rizoma lever guards would work with sato inner weights, after all the inner weights are just for the bar-end to screw into, as oppose the bar end screwing into the small cone shaped nut that opens the metal "clamp" that holds it in place if that...

I just ordered them from ebay. Nowhere in the UK had any of the mirrors in stock at the time (was during lockdown), so had to get them shipped from Italy. The bar-ends i got from Performance Parts (link down below). Mirrors = Rizoma Reverse Retro. Part No. BS071B...
