in the manual the level should be between low and max, but the level on my bike is about the red line on the picture.

the dipstick picture look diferent in the manual. is it the wrong dipstick fittet on my bike or is there to much oil added. Service has ben done by the dealer bike has run 2300 km / oil service at 1000 km

Mine came overfilled by the dealer too. That caused slight more vibration than normal and the bike was slower. I took off the excess. Overfill can damage the engine, because of increased pressure inside engine.

Are you screwing out the dip stick, cleaning it, and not screwing it back in to check the oil while having the bike level. The bit highlighted below....Capture.PNG

If I had to guess the shop filled the oil to the level of the 650F and yours is a 650R. When Honda released the R version they lowered the oil capacity requirement just over a half quart because they discovered the bike didn't need to run as much oil as originally thought. Nothing else changed but the length of the dipstick.

So you are fine as is. My guess is at the level you are indicating would be in the middle of the F dipstick.

I'd leave it.

My thought too. I doubt in that case that the additional oil will cause any problems.
