The full open throttle trick turns off the injectors while cranking to de-flood an engine.

I'd be interested to read the other things you've discovered!

I will try find the information I found. I didn't realise it was to de flood engine, littery my bike was not going start the normal way, it was like it wasent getting enough fuel I got really worried becauce I could hear it trying to spark but it would not come to life , then after this it eventually fired up and has worked perfect ever since.

Any lights or error codes flashing?

These bikes are pretty simple beasts. It'll be something that is obvious after the fact
