Sandblasted and powder-coated the rear footpegs (matte) and exhaust cover (gloss). I like it, I would probably like it more if the exhaust cover was matte too.
For 50€, definitely worth the update:

Some decent pictures there! Can I ask if you have changed footpegs/rearsets from stock? I was on a track day yesterday and constantly dragging the stock pegs to the point I lost the bolts out of them. I am not sure about replacing pegs/rearsets for higher clearance as was concerned about grounding out other more solid parts of the bike which might then cause me to come off. Side stand looks like it isn’t the highest ground clearance wise.

If you’re dragging pegs you need to work on your body position to hang off the bike more.

Rearsets can help but only mask poor body position.

Yes I changed my footpegs/rearsets. It is adjustable and I set it to the highest point for better cornering execution and confidence. My aftermarket footpegs/rearsets and stock side stand so far does not gives me problem. Cheers..

Looks like a cracking setup - I’ll do some digging see what I can find on rear sets. Appreciate the note on body position too which I am trying to work on each time I do a track day.

Very nice, i've removed my rear footpegs but do think i might do the exhaust cover in matte black.

https://www.hepco-and-becker-luggage.co.uk/ I used these bars but I wasent happy with the size and usefulness of the rack so I made a modification on a sw motech luggage rack https://sw-motech.com/en/products/luggage/luggage+racks/STREET-RACK/4052572185933.htm its alot tidier and I can quickly add a larger mounting adapter plate for top case or soft luggage. But even without the adapter there is enough space to add a smaller bag via straps or a magnetic ring. The sw motech rack is just more versatile. They just dont do it for our bike

I dont ride around with luggage the whole time so I wanted something as minimal as possible aesthetically

Put more than 1000 km of mountain road in the last month and an half, start to fell good again on the bike after a long time without riding

Surely not fast, I think the limit of the bike is far away from what I do, but while I ride my brain is not in accord :)

Another track day addiction fix.. (focusing on late heavy breaking and higher entry speed..)

Nice! There's never a photographer at my track days. Which is a shame, because I'd like some nice photos of me on my 650. So here's one of me earlier in the year at Superbike school on a S1000RR (just pretend it's my red CBR650R):
Turn 13.jpg

Of course, the 650R doesn't have as much ground clearance. Which is why I'm on my third set of feelers.

I do have this pic of me getting the bike out early in the morning for a track day this past weekend. It's one of my favorite times, when the dawn is just breaking and the world is peaceful and quiet, anticipating the fun that's about to be had as I get the bike loaded on the trailer before my neighbors have even woken up.
