CB650R Replacing front brake line

I'm trying to fit a Brembo RCS17 master cylinder onto my CB650R. After some initial fiddling and fitting the new mater cylinder onto the handle bar and taking off the banjo bolt of the brake line from the original master cylinder (stupid me...). I've found the OG brake line isn't long enough to reach the new MC's brake hose connector...

I took off the front headlight and realised that the brake line is fitting to the banjo connector and on the other end, the block connector with both metal fittings with press marks on them.

Just wondering if anyone has tried fitting a new MC or replacing the brake line and how you've done it?

Do I have to replace the whole brakeline system here or is there a way just to replace this part of the line (from MC to the first block connector) with a longer one?

Thanks in advance.

You have to replace them all. That middle block is pressed together as you found and not made to come apart.

Why would you want to only replace the one side, just for the length? Get new lines, the feel will be even better with the new MC.

Thanks for the response, miwever929. Yeah it makes sense. Is it a difficult job to replace the whole system? Consider there’s ABS modules involved?

Without knowing your mechanical ability I will just say it’s not awful but you need to know what you are doing. Your life, and others lives around you, depends on them working if that helps the decision.
