All 650Rs Oil leak

I just got my CB650R 2021 with 8k km (I'm from Philippines and we use KM 😅) mileage and when I got the bike I didn't notice any leak whatsoever. Got it around 500km from home and I just drove it to check if there would be problems on long trips and the trip was great. Never had any issues but upon further inspection when I got home, I immediately noticed the moist crank case. Checked it and it was oil and degreased it and it's still leaking. I thought the oil filter was loose that's why it's weeping but even after tightening the oil filter, it's still the same. Changed the oil and the oil filter with no luck. I've read on Facebook groups that the O Ring was the common issue so I ordered one hopefully it fixes it, if not I'll be ordering a new water pump for it.

No! Don't waste yout time with conspiracy theories! It's not the filter, it's not the pump o-ring. It's the punp internal seal leaking through the weep hole. It's common, it's a well known issue and largely debated here. It's in fact an issue, not a problem. Learn to ignore it and enjoy the bike. After a pump replacement under warranty, I accepted to live with it. I prefer a CB with this issue than an uninteresting parallel twin.

Thanks bro, I'm also constantly checking the oil after every ride and the leak barely affects the oil level. The only downside of this bike is that I always want to ride it. 😅😅

Mine started to leak oil also @ 6000 kilometers.. also on the lower part of water pump
