Hey there just bought my first bike, 2020 cbr650r second hand.
Bike needs new shoes so I would like to know what tires are you recommending for this type of bike with type of ride street daily so tire needs to last longer but also just enough to ride fast and leaning like a menace.

Also, fuel tank one strip decal needs to be replaced so I ordered new fuel tank decal from Asian-motoparts but want to ask if any of you have experience with installing those decals or any opinion .

Tires I would recommend a good set of sport touring tires like the Road 6, Roadsmart III (or 4, whatever they are on), T32, Pirelli Angel GTs (again, whatever that latest Gen is), etc. There really are no bad tires out there anymore.

Don't see a sport touring tire as one with less grip; any of the above are better tires than what people considered hyper sport tires even 5 or 6 years ago and will last a long time to boot. You can easily do a track day on any of the above.

I like Metzlers in the UK, although agree there are no bad tyres. My experiance the only tyre I've ever had spin up from the start were bridgestones, a cold winter morning pulling off the drive, so quite testing but never had a dunlop or Metzler do anything like that.

With you saying you've ordered from Asian motor parts, I guess your climates a bit more user friendly the the Uk?

Hello.

I'm using a set of Bridgestone Battlax BT-016 Pro all year around.

Front one is now 15KKm and going fine, the rear one covered 12KKm and I'm now on my second one.
These are budget tyres, but probably the best budget sport tyres you can get. I noticed an improvement in handling, specially in cornering trajectory stability, when compared with the stock Dunlop's.
If you are looking for a performance tyre, these are not for you, but If you are looking for a budget tyre, with great feedback, grip and still sporty capable, you should consider them.
I'm a soft rider, I commute allot and I have nothing to say against. I'm also surprised about their longevity. 12KKm on a rear tyre it´s considerable. Around here in Portugal, a rear tyre costs 170€, assembled and wheel balanced.
