Ordered this for a short trip I’m taking. As I wanted something that could be easily taken off my bike but could hold some clothes. Between this and a backpack I’ll have more than enough storage space.

Was incredibly easy to install. Comes with lots of straps which you can attach to your bike different ways.

I tested it with two straps going under the rear seat and then another one around the license plate. It felt fairly secure.

It expands and can hold a spare helmet even. Believe it’s 33 litres expanded. And looks not bad. F4BB04C8-DD00-4094-8AE2-041C18590FC9.jpeg279CA004-4372-41D3-B7E7-B017088C3440.jpeg

These pics are before I strapped it on and was just seeing what it would look like. I’ll try and take better ones and replace these next week when I go on my road trip.

Edit: I should mention it slides slightly up against your back. But doesn’t feel uncomfortable or annoying.

Edit2: you can see my knock off Ram mount I got on amazon. Was 20$ or so. And has a usb plug in it. Hiding the wire was fairly easy too. Also quite sturdy so far.

To me it looks a bit too big,so i might be humping the tank too much. If your carrying soft things all the time
it might be ok. Also is it waterproof? Right now there are many bags to choose from. But yours does look nice.

Yes it is decently large.

They had a sport version as well that is half the size. But I wanted something larger to carry clothes and items.

Believe it’s not totally water proof. But it comes with a waterproof bag to put over it.

It takes up only the passenger area. So you can sit upright as normal with it. Actually is almost a nice back rest when needed haha.

Sure there is better options. But Canada sucks for parts and I was in rush to get something for my trip next week. You are certainly spoiled in Thailand.

Yep I have a small version on my tail and it lasts me for 3 day trips no problem because it will expand out to add a few more liters of storage. Rain cover included works well.

I have the same mount, could you please post pictures on how did you route the wire? I don't have the wire connected yet. Also does it charge phone battery or holds the charge at constant voltage?
Thanks

Been using that bag for about 2 years, it’s held up exceptionally well. Also ordered matching backpack which they released last year. Equally as good. I don’t think they are making anymore, which is a shame

I’ll take pictures tomorrow morning for you.

I bought a tiny wire for it and had it hooked up for the whole ride with Waze running and it stayed fully charged.

I will admit when I first got it I debated about just cutting the cables cause it was still cheaper.

Hooking it up is quite simple. Pop the seat off and attach it to the battery.

This is the path I took. Although you could change it depending on where you place the mount.

Just slide it under the seat and under those pieces. It isn’t very difficult. Leave a bit of slack at the top so you can turn your wheel and then have the rest of the slack tied up under the seat.

You can still see the cable if you are carefully looking. But otherwise you would never notice. If I took more time I’m sure I could make it invisible but it’s good enough and I’d rather spend those extra moments riding.

Thanks bud, closeup shots were very helpful. I initially thought you might have opened the fairing on the tank to route the wire.
Btw, how's the aftermarket screen, is it eramax brand? Apologies If I am going off topic, this thread was for the tail bag :joyful:

Cheers!

Ya it’s ermax. I like it. It certainly helps. But wish it was a little taller. At high speeds you still can’t fully tuck in behind it.

Build quality is great though. No regrets buying it. The choices aren’t exactly great though for windscreens on this bike. Nor are they truly designed for one.

Also you could pop the fairings more off and run the wire better. It’s pretty easy to do.

Wired mine as well. I accidentally snniped the connectors , had to strip wires and connect them back. Hence the black tape.

Btw, Not many choices for accessories in Canada for this bike. Where do you buy the parts from?

Combination of places.

Amazon, eBay, fort nine. And the place I’ve gotten the most is from motorstarz. They have a store nearby and they have great customer service. They’ve helped me find custom parts and done custom orders to get in stuff for me.

But yes. It’s very tough to get stuff. Always trying to keep a eye out for new places to order from.
