I owned CB650F 2017 from new and drove 10.000 km with it. During the winter break I got excited about the released new Honda Rebel 1100. Test drove it for 10 min (there was a quey), ordered it and changed. After driving home 1,5 hours from the dealer, I struggled a week with severe lower back pain. That driving position did not suit me at all! I have not had any problems with my back before. Dealer had sold my ex.CB in advance so I decided to buy a new one. Yesterday I drove the exact same route back home from the dealer with a smile in my face. CB650R 2021 suits me perfectly. I love the sound of inline 4. It`s the combination of low seat, long reach to the bars and semi forward position of the foot pegs. I`m a short guy thus the lower back gets then rounded.

That position either works for you or doesn't. I think it doesn't for a lot of people (I am one of them).

Welcome back!!!!

Tervetuloa Takaisin.... your lower back pain eager to find out as am facing the same dilemma, meaning the stock CB650R is A OK with no need for bar riser etc.
